An Impromptu pre-4^th of July BBQ

The day of July 3^rd started out with a group of us getting together to go blueberry picking and it ended with us getting together for an afternoon BBQ at the Hinnrichs’ house. Tyler got some play time in with friends and Mom and Dad got some adult conversation. A great time was had by all.

The kids (and Bill) had fun trying to launch each other off the end of the see saw.

4^th of July Festivities

Grandma and Grandpa Mok drove down to celebrate Independence Day with us. We attended the Solvang parade and saw quite a few of our friends who participated in it. Then that evening we headed over to the Santa Ines mission where there was music, food and activities for the kids. Tyler had a blast on the huge slides and obstacle courses. Then, once the sun went down we watched some awesome fireworks.

We thought for sure that he would be deathly afraid of this thing, but he was a crazy man going up and down it. He’s getting to be a big boy!		Cotton candy!
Yummy in my tummy Mommy!	Happy Birthday America!

Play Time!

Tyler’s last day of summer school was the 15^th and he definitely made the most of his new free time.

A kid sandwich!	No, I’m not stinky. I just smile this way!	Fire Mashall Tyler.
Hard to believe he once hated getting his head and face wet.	Because we can’t afford a pool. ;-)	Naked bums!!! Woo hoo!
Penelope proves again she’s becoming a big girl. Her first attempt at stairs.
